end of year

Christmas is coming, and that may as well signify that the end of the year is approaching. Many are hoping to meet up with one another, to catch up on times lost throughout 2008. Time flew by, really. This year passed so fast that I have to come up with my 2009 resolution when I haven't thought of the one this year. Oh wells. I guess the World still spins in spite of your refusal to budge.

I went running this morning (God knows when was the last time I did that). I ran to Jalan Kayu and bought Prata back for my family. But things didn't actually go to plan. My intention was to run there and run back, with fresh, hot prata, out from the pan delivered to my family. Then here goes. I woke up hoping that it was raining, but to my unpleasant surprise, it wasn't. So I reluctantly changed and went out. It was unbelievably far. Haha. I reached there, searched for the stall and got the breakfast. During which, I decided that it will be too tiring for me to run back, so I took a bus. Haha. =D Well, at least it's a good start to keeping fit!

Anyway, S6B met up last Saturday night, thanks to last minute effort from Peng Keong. Amazingly, he contacted us solely using Facebook. But sadly, that messaging thing is quite unreliable. I don't believe everyone will log into Facebook 24/7 and wait for news on a gathering. Haha. Nonetheless, it's the end of the fifth year that we known each other and it seems that we don't ever run out of topic to chat. Cheers to the friendship.

For those band people who doesn't know, Chong Ying is leaving for Canada on the 29th for exchange. We met up today for sort of a farewell lunch at Ichiban Sushi. The crowd was horrendous. We stood outside and waited for nearly an hour before we get to sit. After which, I dragged my tired feets and went around shopping before settling down at Gelare. Half-priced waffles really make everything look worthwhile. Haha.

We got bored and headed down to the arcade. We went for the hitting game (there's some name for it, but I forgot) with 3 coloured buttons. Surprisingly, I am super good at it. =) It will be some time till we see Chong Ying again. Take care, girl.

Tomorrow night will be my Brotherhood annual Christmas dinner. I am glad this tradition has been followed till now. Oh, and there is this Gift exchange thing which I haven't really prepare.

On a side note, I received a Christmas card from Lixuan! Haha. It was sweet of her to send me a card. Thank you!

There are a few more gatherings coming up. Next week will be S3A End-of-year gathering, I believe.

Time for me to get some rest.
