back from HSS FOC
I just got back from HSS FOC.
Darn tired and burnt, literally. It was a really fun 5 days I had with my OG Eldar. The lame jokes from John, "武林高手" game that Li Xuan excelled in, "super-enthu-ness" in Chee Seng as well as the "Joycieee Dance" and many more that made it very memorable. Haha. I can still remember me grumbling about the packing list and the camp, but now, I am starting to miss every moment of it. Oh, and I ran for pageant too, out of surprise and shock. Wasn't supposed to win anything I guess, but just for the fun of it. I got a really pretty pageant mate, felt really like a mismatch, and of course lucky on my part. Haha. I liked the final performance put up by our whole group though, although I think screwed up some parts, but I believed all of us enjoyed ourselves. I am sure glad I went for this camp. Shall talk more about it when the photos arrive.
Work didn't turn out well during the midst of my disappearance these 5 days. I must thank Nevin and Jo for standing in for me during my absence. And I think I missed a CASTAWAY outing yesterday as I was in camp, hope I didn't miss out too much.
What seems like a short 5 days felt like eons to me. Have seemed to lose touch with rather a lot of issues, especially the news. Even things in my family have changed a little and I got a new neighbour asking me if I live here.
Can't help but succumb to this feeling that time has no respite for the living. Changes occur concurrently around us unknowingly, and ironically, its the only constant in life. Having high adaptability and being versatile would be an asset to survive in this merciless World. Just got to fight my way through.
Don't what kind of news this is, but LCJ just told me he got into the same hall as me. Well done. I guess the animosity between us is no longer there, but what he said remained painfully etched in my mind. But then now, its not about the past anymore. There's only one way - Forward.
Oh wells, I am no longer the me back in Montfort.
Coming back from the camp, I seemed to have grown a notch 'higher'.
