kbox
Saw this MV during the KBox session on May Day. Kelly liked this song a lot. Haha. I just like to listen to the female singer.
Anyway, Mother's Day is coming. So to those who forgot and trying to find out when it is, its on the second Sunday of May. Oh and by the way, anyone who has 'Lobang' for buffet catering or something similar, kindly let me know. Thanks a lot.
Back to our gang. Do you guys know that Alvyn is flying off next Friday night? There will be supper some time next week, although I don't know when it will be. So better keep your nights free. I got this book from Khong Chin; "Practical Aspects of Interview and Interrogation". I haven't started reading yet, but I will soon, as he said it was a good book and rather applicable. So you people out there better don't let me have a chance to interrogate you. Squeeze you dry.
Next, I don't know where this will lead me, but here goes. We were talking about marriage today. The few of us chatted over lunch after soccer, and asked each other where we see ourselves to be in 10 years from now. For me, I hope to see myself happily married after finishing my Masters and holding a stable career in the counselling & relief sector. Haha. Seems quite far still though, but I think time flies really fast when we aren't noticing.
Speaking of marriage, I think it is tough to maintain a marriage when both parties doesn't put in hundred percent effort. Heard too many cases of husbands keeping mistress elsewhere or having an affair with some other woman. I don't see the point in marrying if you are going to do that after you get married. I think nowadays couples don't consider much anymore. My cousin is getting married soon, some time this August. Hope she has made the right choice, which I think she did too. That being said, although there are lots of examples of wailing marriages out there, there are also those lovingly successful ones too. Alvyn was saying, that couples should take the plunge into the topic of marriage to really find out more about their partner before they can be sure of tying the knot. If not, remaining in the 'honeymoon-iying relationship period' we might actually not understand the other half fully.
Why am I saying all this? I don't really know. But one thing's for sure. I still believe in successful marriages, and I am sure me and my future wife can work things out eventually, even if things may look bleak at one time. I will always have faith in her as well as myself, and I think that's the way it should be. So to all couples out there, strive hard for the dream family that you always hoped for. It can be done, be a man, do the right thing.
Basketball tomorrow! Followed by tuition. *shakes head*
It's that stupid dream again.
