Yeah. The beginning of a long weekend.

It was an eventful Friday, with the celebration of Ming Min's birthday. I must say the little junior's clique in NYJC Band is quite bonded, with efforts from Yee Wen and rest making it a memorable celebration for her. I was humbly invited, and supposed be as a surprise appearance.
Before heading down to Bugis, I rushed to Orchard, desperately in search of a birthday gift for Ming Min. I know its appears to be a lack of sincerity, but it really almost slipped off my mind. Burnt another big hole in my wallet, and now I owe Kelly a hugh sum. But thanks to her, Rou Yu and Wei Chuan, I have an easier time buying the gift. Hope she likes it.

We went to a steamboat restaurant somewhere in the alleys that I have never been to. I was rather attracted to the Golden Needle Mushroom (a.k.a. 金针菇), hence I think I ate 4 plates myself the whole night. Seeing her happy face when receiving well-wishes and presents from us, I think it was a memorable night for her. After which, Qui Fong & I went home together, leaving the rest of the pack thinking how to travel home, as it was rather late already.

The Ubin trip was cancelled, due to Sok Fong having food poisoning. Looking back, I think she is quite prone to this, having remembrance of her suffering from it a few times before. Oh wells, we can always live to go another day. Haha. Get well soon!

Instead, I went to play soccer early in the morning, despite reaching home rather late last night. During soccer today, an interesting thing happened. There was a marriage going on, and the bridegroom and his 'brothers' were challenged to wear soccer shorts and clipped some papers with wordings on it. The bridegroom shouted I love *** and sang Westlife's Flying Without Wings to the bride, on a basketball court. Haha. The few of us watched in amusement as we start to picture ourselves in their shoes. A few more years to go perhaps, before the red bomb arrives at our doorsteps. If you guys can't imagine it, you can see some of the pictures in Wei Chuan's blog.

Don't worry guys, the next time you guys get married, I will brave all odds to help you get your bride.

Rather shagged after 2 jam-packed weeks. Wonder what's to come for the upcoming week.
