lost after a while
I don't know where to pick up from where I last left here.
Seemed that a lot of stuffs happened last week, but I guess the hype is no longer there to talk about it anymore. Apparently, my whole department is plotting a revolution. Haha. We shall see what happens after that.
Oh, and I went to NTU for checkup on Thursday. Leng was nice enough to spare some time to meet me for a meal despite her busy studying schedule. I tried to contact a few others though, but I thought I would be ok alone. Chong Ying, not that I didnt thought of contacting you, but your MSN nick was too scary the day before.
Speaking of which, we (HSS: Humanities & Social Sciences) seemed to be misunderstood in a wrong light and often stereotyped to be amazingly brave to deviate from the normal paths others tend to follow. Maybe its the pragmatism of Singapore's society that forces people to think this way, but our future prospects aren't as enticing compared to engineers or accountants. But I shan't babble on this topic any further, it would be tough to make some understand how we feel. I try to tell myself to feel nonchalant towards irrelevant and meaningless criticism, because perspectives differ from one to another, and its quite impossible to force others to think the same way as me. And if one still insists on staying narrow-minded, then so be it.
Anyway, I will be giving tuition at Toa Payoh later. Haha. I took over this cute little kid from Nevin as he can't cope with his busy work schedule. Even though the rate isn't very good, I still think the income will be able to cover some of my expenses when University begins. He's from a poor family too, so I guess they are hurting for help. =) He's having PSLE this year, shouldn't be that difficult, right?
The few of us (Brotherhood) had an impromptu meeting for supper on Friday night. Luckily for us, Khong Chin's dad went overseas and we get to ride his car for a spin that night. Haha. We got lost though, on our way to Bedok, but we found our way nonetheless. Haha. Its been a while since we ever did something together, especially playing soccer.
I have been having bizarre dreams. In my dream, I vividly remember chatting with someone with the e-mail of idaretodream@hotmail.com. But I couldn't recall what we chatted about. Its a weird thing. Must be your entry that's affecting me, Ying.
And of course, I dreamt of you too.
And I am going to repeat the same thing again: Its back to work tomorrow!
Oh, even if this might be considered late, Congrats to Leslie for ORD-ing! (If I didn't remember wrongly, opps.) Haha.
