Saturday

Its a rare moment to find me at home on a Saturday night. Most of the time I would be with either some friends watching soccer somewhere, or eating dinner and hanging out till the last train is gone. However, today I chose to return home to eat dinner with my family. Haha. Its been quite a while since I ever get to sit down on a table and eat with them.

Went out early in the morning despite the drizzle to play soccer. Luckily the weather turn for the better and the clouds appeared more beneficial than we thought when all the sunlight was blocked. Its like a usual event we have during weekends' morning, but Alvyn is leaving for overseas on Monday, whereas Alex has already departed for another country. Haha. Seriously, how are we going to continue to play soccer?

Decided I should keep my lazy boots and head down to town to get some stuffs. With Wei Yen accompanying me, we went in search for the stuffs while grasping at the new developments in town area.

The best thing is we bought bikes for ourselves, at a discounted price. Khong Chin came to meet us shortly, and we were enticed by the promotion Carrefour was having and hence, bought the bikes. I think it was a good buy, with the original price at $298 while we are getting it at only $139. Soon I will have a shiny new bike =)

Anyway, I happened to see Chin Mei and Xue Shen somewhere near Plaza Singapura. She is still the cheerful her, waving excitedly at me with Xue Shen looking pissed. Haha. It still feels kind of good, feeling the warmth shown from your friends despite not meeting for such a long time.

Suddenly I thought of this phrase my SSG came up with:

When we are in NS, girlfriends become friends, friends become no friends.
