double birthdays

Admist all those depressing stuff, let me try to squeeze some positive aspects of this week out.

Well, it has been a relatively good start to the week, knowing that I should have a happy day around the corner.

Last Monday, CASTaway headed down to Downtown East Coasta Sands to celebrate Michelle's birthday, which coincidentally, falls on my Birthday too. Haha. It feels weird when you are celebrating someone else's birthday on your birthday. But really, it still feels the same I would say. Aloysius wasn't present, due to his rally, and I am glad that he got nominated for Hall 12 Sports Director. Still, I am sure Michelle won't mind having the rest of us present. Happy 21st Birthday, Mich! I wish her good grades & good fortune in finding her partner soon!

I never regretted spending that 6 months in Compact.

I had Human Resource quiz on yesterday, which was kind of tough in a sense. Haha. I fell asleep 7 minutes into the paper and Linna woke me up. Haha. I don't think I will get any good results this semester.

On a happier note, I received a sweet surprise from my first 3 months classmates. They showed up at my hall and held a mini-celebration for me. Haha. I hope they didn't create much commotion, but I really appreciate their efforts and sincerity. It was nice, seeing these old faces, after we sent Christopher off sometime back in June.

That at least, gave me something to smile about this day.

I am still picking up the pieces that I left behind and trying to catch up with school's pace. I am nearing my former self, which is quite heartening to myself, in a sense.

Due to a unexpected twist of fate, I have joined HSS Club Logistics sub-committee. Yeah. Despite not being very active in Hall, I believe I will be quite vibrant in HSS, and probably, I will sign up as a FOC programmer as well. Haha. I guess, this is probably the life I am aiming for in NTU.

I had a good talk with Shi Qi during supper on Wednesday night. I guess it helps knowing someone else who feels the same way as you do. Speaking of which, Eldar got her maiden supper gathering, with a rather high turnout of 14 people. Don't ask me why we took a picture at a coffeeshop.

Thursday night was even crazier. Wei Yen, Chong Ying, Hwee Min and I went for KBox at Taman Jurong Shopping Centre. Don't ask me where on Earth is that place, cause I don't know. Haha. I guess this session will be the pit-stop, till exams are over.

And Jia Min, thanks for your well-wishes. I do visit your site daily. Haha.
