long time
It's been a long time since I blogged. I was supposed to when I came back from Spring Break. I had lots to say actually, but now that I am actually here, I don't really feel like saying them anymore.
Spring Break was nice, Niagara Falls is very pretty and awesome. I took many pictures including one that showed me having a double chin. New York was a little bit more on the disappointing side. Although I did get to see some major attractions like Empire State Building and Statue of Liberty, it didn't really make my trip worthwhile. Haha. The people there were a little... racist. I had a few problems with the customs and it made me wonder if they are just trying to make life difficult for me. Perhaps I haven't travel around enough to figure that, everyone is racist to a certain degree. But oh wells, it was a good experience. Somehow, in a weird way, it made me appreciate my homeland more. I won't be posting pictures, as you know, there will be tons of it, and they are all available on my Facebook. Ok. Maybe just one. The double chin one.
Okay, I swear it was the camera angle.
Being in the States has made me experienced a whole new part of life. Studies here, aren't as challenging as I thought. The kids here, well are still kids. I feel old. Although I did get to meet many international students, which kind of summed up my exchange experience.
Nonetheless, Gender Development and philosophy classes are proving to be very interesting and enriching for me. These are probably the only two lessons I won't skip as I love attending them. Gender development gives me new insight on how girls and guys may differ in terms of mentality and physically. It's quite good stuff actually. Philosophy on the other hand, teaches me more about logic and arguing. Although everyone has their own philosophy in a way, it doesn't hurt to be open to what other people might say, I guess.
I am going over to Miami this weekend. I promise I will try to update again. And get back my writing mood. =)
Good luck to people taking exams in NTU and NUS!
