nice weekend
Its was an awesome weekend, although I have to start off by saying sorry to Ming Min and gang for missing out on the outing on Saturday, due to some reasons.
I had a great game at soccer on Saturday morning, and that certainly made up for what I missed last weekend, due to some sudden viral infection and high fever. And that was followed by basketball with S3A the next day, early in NYJC. It was empty though, with the usual mob of Japanese soccer kids missing in action. Leslie commented that the organisation was one of the best, as it took just less than 2 hours just to confirm everyone's attendance(although Sok Fong didn't really do anything), but well, it was her who pulled this together. Haha.
To everyone who has read Robert Kiyosaki's famous book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", I played a game that he invented at Khong Chin's house on Sunday, before heading down to Si Jun's birthday chalet. Its called the 'Cash Flow Game', and its supposed to give a pragmatic insight on management of income and expenses. Its really quite interesting, and to be able to make it big in the game, it takes more than just luck to hit the jackpot.
Saw a few rare faces at Si Jun's chalet. Daniel, Aloysius and Alvin Wee are certainly people I have not seen in years. Haha. Ever since we 'broke up' in Secondary school, keeping in contact hasn't been on each others' packed schedule. But the least we can do is to re-live those experiences and memories that kept us together in the past.
Anyway, below is a nice video I found on Chong Ying's blog. Being a music lover, I have to share this unique piece of creation. Its a tune pieced together using only sounds from Windows XP and Windows 98. Bet you want to hear it now.
