AHM
Just finished the highly anticipated Army Half Marathon.. This is the first time ever that I have ran so far in my life.. Haha.. 21.1 km.. Its actually not as tiring as I thought, but the legs are aching like crazy.. Haha.. Now I am considering the Standard Chartered 42 km run coming up at the end of the year. Well, at least this is over and I am glad I finished it.
This big event got me waking up at 3 a.m in the morning, just to be able to reach there by 4.15 a.m.. Haha.. Didn't get much sleep last night, properly due to the adrenaline rush Wei Yen was talking about.. Went to watch 'Bourne Ultimatum' with the usual gang. At first I hesitated about watching that show as I didn't watch the previous 2 sequels. But in the end I came out due to the fact that I will not be seeing them for quite some time.. The show is quite nice, and the plot is crafted quite neatly.. If you guys got nothing to do, you can head down to cinemas and take a look..
Saw some familar faces at the run today.. Including some from the 154th Platoon Sergeant Course.. Well, its certainly is one of the major events in army. The whole road was flooded with people, and sometimes it makes it a little difficult to run in between..
With that, Army Half Marathon marks the milestone of my local NSF life. There won't be anymore local training, so now, onto the overseas part.
Legs are aching. Maybe I should go for a full body Spa.
