Day at Sentosa.
Rain.
One word to describe the whole outing at Sentosa... It rained non-stop from late morning till I went back to mainland... What a waste; such a chance to get a good tan and enjoy yourselves.. Haha.. Nevertheless, there was a mini gathering instead..
Kind of surprised to see Wei Lung and Aloysius.. As they are also 2 of those that I haven't meet up for 3 years... That Ashley is late again, despite giving promises and all.. On top of that, he is supposed to bring culery and stuff, but wasn't around till 1430h... -.- Late till I got nothing to say.. But nevertheless, some of us really had a great talk with each other and I hope all of us enjoyed today...
Woke up at 0600h, but went back to sleep till 0630h.. At 0700h, I reached Kang's house with all the ingredients for cooking.. Supposed to whip up some dishes, so we decided on Fried Rice, Hash Browns and Chicken Nuggets... I went to dice the hotdogs and crab meat while Kang started to cook the rice.. On the other hand, went to bake the Japanese Chicken (Good Stuff) in the oven.. Long time since I cooked, so apparently appeared quite lost.. Haha.. After that, was Kang's turn, he went fry the Ikan Billis and prepared the mushrooms.. (Eh, I hated mushrooms, so he obviously have to prepare it.) After that, the frying starts. Just realised we didn't add eggs -.- Haha, so just last minute went to break 3 eggs in. While it's the hash browns' turn in the oven, we were already more or less done with the cooking and started packing up..
Reached there around 1000h, started with a bit of volleyball, but ended up playing soccer instead.. Haha.. I saw Marcus and Timothy though, both from Raven company back at BMT.. Both of them are clerks at the Manpower Branch.. Hmmm.. OCS's OOCs..
Then, God knows, a downpour came and we began scruffling for shelter... Haha.. Ended up in a restuarant, but we didn't eat there.. Instead, we just stuff ourselves with whatever food we bought.. Haha.. Until we were chased out by the waitress.. Lol..
After that, went over to New Zealand Natural.. Hey, they sell beverages that are quite tasty, you all should give it a try.. Stayed there for the whole afternoon... Talked a lot and caught up with a few people... Especially Melvin..
Went to Vivo City for dinner in the evening, got to apologise to both S3A and Hsien Yeow for missing out the dinner and the mahjong session respectively.. Will have a chance for those in the future again... Don't worry.. Yeah.. Took a bit of photos there and some of us left early.. I was rather tired in the end..
Despite an un-fruitful day at Sentosa due to the rain, we at least managed to catch up with one another.. Haha.. To me, I think that will be the biggest takeaway today... Hope to meet up with these guys soon again...
